Accessing a Disc Drive (Folder Content)

Good day to you all,
I need a facility in the access VBA coding to check if a directory exist.
I it does exist, I need to open it and check for a specific file.
Or if the directory (folder) exist, to determine or display folders within.

I hope someone can help me in this regard.
