Hello All, I hope some one can help, and understand what I am asking.

Here goes!

Currently if an employee attends a mandatory training session the details are entered individually into in a single table which contains all the employees' attendances to training, this is achieved via a bound form.
Works Fine.
My question is, if the training is carried out by a number of employees can this attendance be recorded on one form and assigned to each of the employees who attended?
Using Access 2003

Thank you in advance

Paul, thank you so much. I have a 1:1 in a minute, so will work on this tonight. I will let you know how I get on tomnorrow.

Fingers crossed.

Kind Regards Esther

Paul, followed the link you provide and now know how to add a sub form to a main form .However I am still none the wiser on how to proceed to update more than on employee at time. I have created a very small demo , hopefully make my objective clearer.

1. each employee has a unique id number , I have created four , 1,2 ,3 & 4
2. If I enter the number 1 in the employee id field and enter some text in the "Description of learning " field , employee number 1 will be updated .
3. I wish to update more than 1 employee using a single form is this possible /
Hope you can point my in the right direction
