Hi, I am running a database results page on my intranet site for people to search against a database. This all works fine if the database is held on the current machine, as it is when testing. However the database is held on our file server not our Intranet Server. I have mapped a drive "i:\" to the shared folder on the File server and made sure the share is for everyone. I have changed the global.asa file to reflect this but always get te same error message:
""Database Results Error
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access 97 Driver] '(unknown)' isn't a valid path. Make sure that the path name is spelled correctly and that you are connected to the server on which the file resides.""
I cannot work out how to get this working, so has any got the solution please as i am getting desperate.

You need to use UNC (Universal Naming Convention). Use the explicit path (for example: \\Admin-Server\MyShare\Documents ), not a drive name ("i:")
