Advice on updating someone else's Access database!

Hi, im currently working on a database which is for someone else. Whe it is handed over to them, they will no doubt want some changes done every so oftern eg new reports, changes to forms etc.

What is the best way to do this? The database holds a lot of data, so I dont think its feasible for them to send it to me via email everytime they need something changed!

Ive noticed a few posts here about splitting the database into a front/back end. If this was done, would they just have to send me the front end; this would probably be a smaller file ye?

If this is going to be the best way round the problem; how easy is it to split a database which is basically already made?

Personally
I would have some sample data in it say 100- 150 records and keep this then it would be just them asking
report a needs x doing to it you can do X and see the result with the data sample and forward on to them to sign off on - and Yes FE/BE would be the best option unless they need the BE amending

So you mean if they need a new report I could just make it and run it here, then send the generated report to them? Rather than sending them the actual report?

Mmm this could be one way of doing it....ideally I would like to send him the actual changes to the DB.

How do you send an actual report? Not the run report, but the actual report, which the user can run on their own copy of the database -

Are they stored in a folder somewhere?
