Not in this case. Left the page, went back. No joy.

I just tried again to post that same snippet of code in another thread, and it just won't let it go in. Just get the Oops message and then I'm forced to post a screen shot which will work just fine for now. It's something to do with the code being posted in my case. But in this thread, I get Oops message as soon as the code tag button is clicked. Minty had the same problem.

Jon,
This seems to be happening where we are posting code. There may be something about these character combinations that make them look like we are trying to embed instructions in SQL code.

I'm sure I have been getting it just when replying, no code involved?

In fact I just got it after posting message above and then clicking the notification bell.
I had to go back to the Whats New page to be able to see it was Mike and Pat's post here?
Then I came back to this thead, unable to edit my above post (hence this one) and am hoping this posts.

This seems to be happening where we are posting code.

It has definitely happened for me in a section of pure text with normal punctuation for which there was nothing remotely similar to code.

@Jon
In this thread, if I click the notification bell I get the Oops message.
If I go to Whats New page and click it there, I then get to see the notifications?

In fact unable to post this as I was locked out again :(
Foturnately I kept a copy in Notepad :)

I'm speaking with my host about this issue and seeing what progress we can make.

Also once you get an oops on a thread from the notification bell, it appears to be permanent.
Just tried again and got the oops. Hoping this post will take.

Ok, making some progress here. Tweaking the server a little and I anticipate many of these Oops problems will go away, maybe even the notification ones! But only time will tell. Let me know how you get on and if it has cleared up or returning again like a bad case of the clap.

Ohh yes - no longer getting "Oops" on the notification bell when in a thread, (e.g. this one!)

Better!

To me it seemed once you got it on a thread, you kept getting it.?
I've just tried this thread and got the notification list AND I was allowed to edit my last post. So......fingers crossed. :)
