Astea Service Database Platform

Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience with using / managing / peering at / administrating the Astea platform http://www.astea.com/en/default.aspx

A system I have been developing / maintaining for a number of years is being replaced by this and I may need to urgently become an expert in its use or become a little less employed in the future.

I think it is SQL based which means I might be able to "work" it.

I haven't heard of it. Seems like a major change if company is currently working with Access.
There are several youtube videos that may be useful for orientation.

I've subsequently found out that this appears to be more of a on-going planned "route".

So I suspect with a bit more information, and a appreciation of just how flexible the incumbent system is things might change... We'll see.
