Attack on Israel (2 Viewers)

How are the palestinian people the enemy? Is mass starvation an OK tool of war?
The court of public opinion, the international court, and God will soon pass judgement on Israel, and it's not going to end well for them.

How are the palestinian people the enemy?
Simple, they have been perpetually starting conflicts against Israel. They have not sought peace. At a certain point Israel's patience has become exhausted. Israel is the victim here.
Additionally, where has the UN been in all of this?
The UN failed to disarm Hamas and Hezbollah.
The UN failed to protect Israel when attacked.
Employees of the UN have been identified as also being members of Hamas, meaning that the UN supports these terrorists.

Is mass starvation an OK tool of war?
Historically, yes. It's only been about 60 years for this to be designated as evil. But it is only considered "evil" by the advanced Western Nations. When it comes to radical Islam, there are no limits to those who can be killed by any means.
I would suggest you do an AI search on that question.
One such siege during WWII is that of Leningrad (now St. Petersburg)
During the US Civil War there was the siege of Vicksburg.
The focus should not simply be limited to "mass starvation", but also about massive indiscriminate death, such as the US air raid on Dresden or the US firebombing Tokyo. Then there is the ra** of Nanjing (Nanjing Massacre). Plus numerous other examples.

Man's inhumanity to man knows no limits.

Regardless of whether it's happened before which obviously I don't doubt, I don't think it's right to use mass starvation against the citizenry.

Frankly God has been pretty busy punishing the Israelites for thousands of years and it never seems to end. Maybe it's time to accept Jesus for who he really is

OK, but how "right" is it for the Palestinians to instigate perpetual war against Israel?
Where are the demands that the Palestinians cease and desist and turnover the instigators to an international court for judgement.
Israel is defending itself against antisemitic aggression. The Palestinians need to be called-out.

Would you prefer other weapons of mass destruction? Israel has such things. But they are using conventional - if intense - warfare because that gives people a chance to evacuate ahead of an announced attack. I grieve for many people in Gaza but I have to consider the history of how it got that way. Israel has been on the receiving end of Islamic religiously-based aggression and persecution. They beat the stuffing out of their enemies. Those enemies slink away, lick their wounds, and come back for more because their ****-eyed religion says the only way they can get into their paradise is to die a martyr. They don't have the possibility of redemption. If you are going to adopt a religion, WHY would you pick one that doesn't have a loophole?

It IS curious to me how the Jews get a pass but all other religions are doomed according to Christianity
Judeo-Christian God, so I guess it is all in the family?

Judaism has a concept similar to Purgatory where you serve in Hell for a little while, cleansing yourself. Once you are purified, you can pop up to their form of Heaven, either "Gan Eden" or "Olam Ha-Ba" - though it should be noted that there is no uniformity in any of the specifics of such places. For the truly incorrigible baddies, there is either Gehenna or Sheol forever, again varying because of lack of uniformity. However, the ideas of Heaven and Hell focus on closeness or distance from God.

Let me clarify, because I'm not sure I understand
Are you approving of the idea that the strongest can slaughter the weakest?

...Israel has done more to minimize casualties on "civilians"....

Ehhhhh ????
.
Israel has the technology to hit a single building thousands of kilometers away, but it wouldn't be able to go and take out a few fighters on Palestinian soil?
With the most enlightened army in the world?
With the most sophisticated and lethal weapons?
With the most effective intelligence services in the world?
.
You can believe it, if you want
But there's really no hope of believing that could be true
What is certainly true is that it is stealing land from the people who have always lived there
And the whole world is seeing

@amorosik: You refuse to acknowledge that the Palestinians can end this conflict immediately by releasing the hostages and surrendering. The Palestinians, by instigating endless attacks on Israeli, have created this humanitarian disaster. The Palestinians can restore peace, the decision is theirs.

"...the Palestinians can end..."
"...The Palestinians, by instigating..."
"...The Palestinians can restore..."
.
These are the Palestinians
They're starving, they don't have tears to cry
And sometimes they don't even have eyes to cry
They don't know where to go, because missiles rain down on their miserable homes from the sky or bulldozers raze them from the ground
.
What do you think the Palestinians can do?

Ps. If you want, I can post more photos or videos so you can understand what we're talking about

What do you think the Palestinians can do?
I've told you. But you refuse to listen. They can stop attacking Israel, they can release the hostages, they can disarm, they can surrender. They could have made Gaza into a city similar to Singapore, but they turned it into an armed fortress and devoted all their economic resources to a genocidal war against Israel thereby depriving Palestinians of a reasonable standard of living. The Palestinians frenzied devotion to masochistic war is insane. The Palestinians created this humanitarian crises and they can end it, that is what the Palestinians can do.

Wow - that's sick actions on the part of Israel
Why are you always 100% ready to believe the worst of Israel but you cannot see at all what the terrorists do to Israeli citizens and even to their own citizens? This reeks of antisemitism. Review your history. Try not to use Wikipedia. WHEN in all of human history has the attacked country taken upon itself to feed its attacker?

I can't read the article so I'm not willing to believe the assertion. For some claim so egregious, we need multiple UNBIASED reports.

What do you think the Palestinians can do?
GIVE BACK THE HOSTAGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
STOP LOBBING BOMBS AT ISRAELI CIVILIANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DISARM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
STOP TRYING TO KILL ALL THE JEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ACTUALLY RESPECT A CEASEFIRE YOU SIGN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
EXPEL HAMAS AND AGREE TO LIVE IN PEACE WITH YOUR NEIGHBOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is proof that the head of the occupying government has the ONLY goal of occupying the Palestinian territories
Hostages, killing the Jews, peace, it doesn't matter
Land, that's what matters

You might want to read actual history and even simply listen to the chants of the Hamas supporters. Do you have a clue what "from the river to the sea" even means? Do you not know that the Gaza charter promises to KILL ALL THE JEWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you not know that Gaza has been "free" since 2004???? Your antisemitism and lack of historical knowledge is amazing.

What do you think the Palestinians can do?

Repudiate their choice of Hamas as their government leaders. Expel them.

Which would require them to open their eyes to see the sequence of causes and effects that finally awoke Israel to realize the only solution for a perpetual problem is to make it not perpetual. By removing it.

What is certainly true is that it is stealing land from the people who have always lived there

Except that it certainly ISN'T true. The people who have always lived in the land now called Israel were described in the Old Testament, which lists events surely on the order of 3500 years ago. Who lived there after the exodus from Egypt? The Jews did. "Always lived there?" Sorry, the current
residents of Israel have a prior claim born out by scripture and archaeology.

Are you approving of the idea that the strongest can slaughter the weakest?

Can? Yes. Ever hear of "survival of the fittest?"

Should? Different question and in fact is the primary point of debate here.
