All I see is the press melting down honestly. The children at the last two press conference were just screaming their childish questions and stomping their feet hoping to get their meaningless gotcha question on camera.

The most serious and hard hitting question I've seen asked of Biden so far was "what flavor ice cream did you buy sir".

I watched Biden, at one (fake) news conference, take questions from supposed journalists (who acted more like Democratic operatives) who asked Biden softball questions that were aimed at giving Biden an opportunity to "attack" Trump rather than ask Biden what his position was on fracking. Given that type of disingenuous behavior, I fail to see why anyone would vote for Biden.

The fact that Trump is polarizing should not be a reason to vote for Biden. Biden has shown himself to be a chameleon who obscures where he stands on all issues. Biden has not gotten out to campaign vigorously to win the Presidential election. Seems that Biden's reluctance to disclose what he will do and to hide in the basement would be major reasons to vote against him. What would you really be getting with a Biden (really a Harris) administration?

Trump may be throwing what some believe to be temper tantrums and lashing out at reporters; actions some may consider un-Presidential. But consider the possibility that those actions are, to a degree, a justifiable response to the open hostility of some press towards Trump. Many reporters and the debate moderators have been posing gotcha accusations towards Trump, not real questions. With Biden, the reporters ask leading questions, with a long anti-Trump preamble, that opens a "door" for Biden to "attack" Trump. The reporters should be questioning, in detail, what Biden plans are.

Additionally, in comparison to Trump, Biden has had extremely few press conferences. I've also heard that the number of reporters asking questions was purposely limited leading to very short press conference. Trump, on the other hand - for reasons that I can't fathom - even made himself available to be interviewed by openly hostile reporters! One of whom, Wodward even released a biased hostile book against Trump just before the election. This raises the possibility that Woodeard was using the book as a political hit-job to influence voters away from Trump.

The complicit media should be chastised for their open virulent hostility towards Trump and their reluctance to pose valid hardball questions at Biden. The complicit media is failing the public and should be condemned.

If I were Trump, I would not have press briefings, period. I would broadcast weekly or bi-weekly "fire-side chats" where I would occasionally address written questions. One of Trump's biggest mistakes has been engaging with the press. He has tried very hard to be patient and open with them but they just won't stop the ad hominin attacks and mis-reporting. He recognized early on that they were not there to ask honest questions, they were there to trap him. At that point, he should have stopped. There is nothing in his job description that requires him to subject himself to that kind of abuse. It was politically naive of him to continue and he has paid dearly for that mistake.

So what. Biden held fake news conferences where the reporters, if they really were reporters, performed as Democratic party operatives. Since Biden was holding fake news conferences, ABC News' assertion that "President Trump has done away with the traditional format" was pointless nit-picking word-salad to generate an anti-Trump sound bite. Additionally, by posing the question: "Is there a downside for the public?"; ABC News seems to lack self-awareness in that the downside resulting from their anti-Trump reporting. The downside is that ABC News was generating an anti-Trump narrative. That is not fair and balanced news reporting. So it is ABC News that was harming the public.

Recently, even Cuomo (no friend of Trump) lashed out at reporters: Surprise: Andrew Cuomo lashes out at reporters who disrespect Trump.

“There are reporters who are just unprofessional. They don’t know the facts and ask really biased questions. They come with a question to fit what their editor wants for that night. There are reporters who ask questions which are unintelligent,” he said.

My sister-in-law who is a teacher of young children thinks the the daily show is a news program. That may explain why our children do so poorly in world-wide standard tests.

Actually, what classes did you have in high school and college that you still remember? I remember the ones that were fun and engaging. The teachers were funny and could keep your attention. I'm sure thats the reason why Colbert and Stewart have an impact.

The left is hyper focused on education as it pertains to Republican voting statistics. I am not a Republican BTW, but I was a Democrat many moons ago.

what classes did you have in high school and college that you still remember?

A few classes stand out. I really enjoyed my physics and chemistry classes because the teachers were enthusiastic and gave energetic lectures. I loved my Latin classes because our teacher could answer all sorts of oddball questions. He had studied Roman history as well as the language. But my favorite (and most useful) class was the one-semester typing class. I've used what I learned there for the last 50 years+.
