Has anyone heard of this before?

I have a new XP computer with Office 2003. I can't seem to get reports in Access to work at all. I click on Reports then either design or wizard and nothing happens. I copied an mdb from another computer where everything works and can't run or open reports in it on the new computer. I can open tables and forms, and my queries all seem to run, just not reports.

I have several printers installed and this only seems to be a problem when a particular networked printer is set as the default printer, and it is only a problem with Access. I can print in other programs including Excel, and Word when that printer is set as the default.

Everything works fine when I switch to another printer as the default.

Any suggestions that might keep me from having to reinstall Office or XP?

Thanks

I think I've narrowed it down to a conflict between access and the printer driver. I remember having the same problem a couple of years ago when updating from NT to Win2K with Office 2000. We were never able to resolve the problem but deleted the networked printer that caused it and used another printer instead. This time the networked printer that is the problem is one that I need to use so I can't delete it. I'm going to try to have the printer driver changed to an older one (pcl5 instead of pcl6) to see if maybe that might work, but I'm unable to change it on my local computer and will have to have someone from our IT department change it on the print server.
I've found some references to the problem searching the internet, but no solution other than changing the printer driver. Why is this only a problem with Access and why hasn't Microsoft addressed this?
