My entire database is created in that way that nobody can close any form without using one of the appropiated command buttons inside the forms.

But I noticed that once in a while the database is getting blocked by system (read network) problems. Because of this thread I had to create a link in the toolbar that let the users instantly quit the entire program (instead of using the Ctrl+Alt+Delete method inside Windows to access the taskmanager) after putting in a password. This password is determined in the VBA code behined the command button.

My question is the following:
Instead of one password determined inside the form (aka administrator password) is there any way of the user puts in his own password, the same one used for logging into Access? I actually want the given password in the form to be checked with the login password.

I am using Ms Access 2000 with Access Security (mdw).
