checking duplication

I have table timecard and employee. In my mainform i have the employee detail and the sub form i have timecard...fields like timecardID and date bookinDate etc

i need to check that i dont enter same date twice......

You can set up an Index at the Table Level.

This is a combination of One or more fields.

An Index prevents duplication.

There is an Icon that looks like a Thunder Bolt in the design view of a table.

I cant do that because 10 other employee use the same date

You could if the employees have a different ID.
