Code problem (1 Viewer)

My DB has started to mis-behave. When ever code tries to run, the action fails and the VB window opens. If I do anything other than Break then I get the message "Error accessing file. Network connection may have been lost" I also get this if I try to compile.

Compact and repair appears to function ok

Running Access 2003 on one PC and Access 2000 on another. Using Access 2000 file format.

The DB is split and was converted from Access 97

I've no clue where to start looking.

Any ideas welcome
