Compliance gone mad

Lol :) :p

I always use correct grammar in texts, (comma's, colons, brackets etc), in 5 years correct English grammar will be obsolete - or even worse, similar to the pigeon English the Americans write and speak:rolleyes:

Col

"pigeon English?!?!?!?"

This is hilarious! What's pigeon English? The word is pidgin. Yet another smarmy hypocritical jab at the Americans...what else is new...

Don't worry... inbd.
;)

I haven't understood a single one of these abbreviations!:( . Am I just getting old or did I miss some TV program?

HAHAHA - I guess so

...had to google having a poke to know what you meant...

oops sometimes I forget -
having a poke means having a go at , taking the micky -taking the piss, pointing out someones short comings, but you you got the double meaning of this - it was basicly me taking the mickey out of myself via you, but glad you got it , sometimes my sense of humor gets the better of me, and i used Brit/english humor forgetting that it is no universal - however now you found out about it - hope it made you day .

g;) :p

That usage of the word is a noun.

I'd assumed Col was using it as an adjective, the adjective form is spelled pidgin. Or is the noun/noun usage here another one of these obscure regional colloquialisms of his we are supposed to be intimately familiar with?

And it's still so darned cute how you answer his questions for him!
