Hi

I have created a subform which looks like an excel spreadsheet. Is there any way that say, if you have 10 lines already completed with information that you can copy and paste these 10 lines in the same spreadsheet to make 20 lines.
Thanks.

Tracey

I am not aware of how you can insert records using cut and paste via a form, but my users append one or more records all of the time. Select the record or records that you want to copy, go to the end, select the new ercord line (with the "*"), and paste the records. They will be added to the end.

Thank you, think this might be the solution.

having said that, if you cut and paste records, you may/will have duplicate records in your database - is that what you really want?

it may be better to provide a command button to manage such functionality

Hi,

there is a nifty tool on peterssoftware.com that allows drag n drop between fields, forms and subforms.
