I ran Disc Cleanup this morning (probably a mistake) os is windows 2000 pro and Im using Office 2000.

When I try to use a db (just1, the rest are fine) as soon as I click a cboBox (any cbo) I get the following error:
Error accessing file. A network connection may have been lost.

I then get dumped into the code window, cant add or delete code and cant compile.Help button opens help but blank?

I am using my home PC, no network.

I also get the error if I try to acess the code window, code for a cbo is yellow.

My backup (on cd rw)will succesfully install but when I try to open I get:
'AOIndex' is not an index in this table. Then the db closes.

Ive tried the following:
copy and paste db
create new db and copy tables forms etc into new db
Jet compact utility

Ive one more backup on cd at work so all is probably not lost but...

What the**** is going on here? Any ideas, help???

bump one more time.
Anyone???

Got it

Solution and Ive no idea why this worked:
Copy old backup that did not have the corrupt form and paste the corrupt form and recordsource in???

Strange, Really Strange

MS Access has the real propensity to push us to our limits and get the best in us. Anyway we come out the winner.

That's the spirit Jerry. Congrats.
