Hi
I have a report with to lebels: 1) therapist, 2) by day and 3) kind o service. My probles is that when I count the total number of services of one therapist per day, the result --for example is 24 services that is correct because the therapist can make 1, 2 or more services to one customer in one day--, my problem is that a need that my report show the number of clients, in this case 13 customers. If I add a new lebel for customer and put it as # 1, it show the 13 clients, but the format of the report change.
Perhaps this help to explain better:

Therapist: # 1
Date: 7/11/2011
Kind of service: compress 9 services
service 2 13 services
service 3 2 services
---------------------------------------------------------------
Total 7/11/2011 24 services

Date: 7/12/2011: ...
etc.

What I need is that the report count and show the "real number of customers" -- in this case 13 (without more than 1 services per customer) in the Total per day and a Great Total at the endo of the report and show. The customer field is numeric
Hope can help me

Sounds like this should be done in the query and shown in the report. Have a look at GROUPS and TOTALS queries.

Hi
What I do is create a group consult grouped by patient # and join therapist and dates fields, and join with the original consult by the therapist-date (if I join with other field, the result is 24 records and not 13). At the report, in the foot section of dat I only include the count of the group consult and surprise, I have the correct answer per day-therapist.
I don know i this is the correct way, but I think that perhaps is a better way to do this (visualbasic programming, or a different query, or ???. By th way, a have to include another field in tha historical table with the join of the therapist-day data. Any best idea?... thanks

Are you trying to do this in one report, you're probably going to need a subreport. Hard to tell exctly what you need without seeing the tables...
