Hello Everyone,

I used to created custom menus in Access 2000 by using View - > Toolbars -> Customize.
But I am not sure how I can create my own Custom Menus in access 2019.
I looked around File -- >Options and played around. I still cannot figure it out.

Any helps are greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Frank

Hi Frank. I wonder if this is similar to what you used to do.

File > Options > Customize Ribbon

Hi theDBguy,

Under Options > Customized Ribbon, I created a menu named 'Report'.
When I click File or Home, there are different items under them.
Now how can I create new items or put my reports under the the 'Report' menu?

"Customized Ribbon", i think, is for built-in menu.
you can still use your old "menu" but it will appear
in the "Add-in" tab.

for "New menu", google Customizing Ribbon.

The classic menus have been replaced by the Office Ribbon. Microsoft has a support for page for creating custom ribbons.
If you still want to use classic command bars, e.g. for a context menu, you either have to create the command bar by VBA code or you use a 3rd-party tool, like our brand new Access DevTools CommandBar Editor to create/edit them.
