Did anyone see the most recent episode of HOUSE on Monday Night (or on DVR/Tivo)?

I was completely confused as to why the producers did what I did until I read some articles related to the reason for the unexpected Plot Twist. For anyone who does not know (and has any interest), the show killed off one of its more popular supporting characters without any warning.

Just wondering if anyone else watched the show.

Obviously it'll be a year or two before it arrives here in the uk! Now I'm going to have to go download it

I watched it! Very disapointing. I am now wondering if that means they are going to bring back one of the older cast members into a more mainstream capacity. Chase would be my bet, we see him in alot of episodes already. But who knows, maybe a new character?
Good for Kal Penn though. It looks like his new job is going to be a big pay cut but hey, it must make him happy.

I read that he will meet with the president and/or his staff on a regular basis until things are under his control. He sounds like a man with major political ambitions to me.

But I did hear about it online and honestly wondered how he got to be so popular of a character in such a short time. Are all three originals, Cameron, Chase and Foreman gone altogether?

Wilson's Girlfriend's name was Amber. All of the original cast is still there:

• Cameron is not the head of the ER.
• Chase is now the Chief Surgeon.
• Foreman is still on House's Team, but he is in charge when House is not around.

Three new doctors were added and one of them was the one that was killed. As you may have surmised, the charater was played by Kal Penn, who recently accepted a position at the White House, and had to leave his acting career.

My initial comment was to indicate my surprise that the show had killed him off. With all of the other creative options available, This left no room for him to come back if/when his political ambitions ceased and he was ready to return to acting.

Ah i totally agree with you on that one.

I read a interview with the director/writer, i believe, and they said they did it to add suspense to the show... because there was no reason given, it will drive house mad trying to figure out why it happened...

That is true I suppose. All I know is that I remain a fan and await the next couple of episodes to see what happens next.

It was nice to see House unsure of himself and self-questioning as to why with his skill sets he was unable to see this coming. Of course unless the script writers wanted him to see it, he couldn't. Amber made a nice ghost.

Unfortunately we do not receive any of the channels which carry House, we have even tried using scrunched up foil instrad of pieces of steel wool on the rabbit ears but the Philco RadiationKing just does not pull them in.
Perhaps one day we will upgrade to a flatscreen television - I hear also that colour television is also not just a fad... dont want to rush into upgrading though
