I don't know if this would be a query question, report question, or even an Excel question but here it is... I need to file an annual report that lists all customers (with basic info like name, invoice date, service address and total amount) who had more than 1 invoice in our system for the year of 2015. I do have an existing table of all invoices for 2015 but I am having trouble "filtering out" all invoices of one time customers. The total number of invoices for 2015 is somewhere around 750 so going through one by one would take too long.
The final format I need to submit is an Excel file with each row being a single invoice for each customer. There should be no special formatting or grouping applied to it.
I am also required to provide a separate list of the opposite; just the "one time" customers.
The list I am starting with is also pretty basic and has the following fields:
Invoice Date
Invoice #
Customer Name
Billing Address
Service Address
Invoice Total
Please help me figure this out as I am stumped. I have tried an access report and use the group feature with a count field, however I couldn't figure how to filter out records where the "count = 1" (and vice versa), and also after exporting that to Excel it includes the grouping and special formatting that I cannot have. Any suggestions???
