I'm happy to discuss anything civilly with anyone. And I don't ignore her because I don't like her, I ignore her to prevent me from publicly disagreeing with her every time she posts (my fault, not hers) and committing myself to a flame war I don't have time for. We are very different. I'm sure she's very nice and I'd love to sit and debate her over coffee.

You like me? I had no idea - let's be friends then. But if you are going to be my friend, you have to stop privately flaming me. Deal?

I wish that people could learn enough self control to take a step back when things are going down Out of Hand boulevard, which just happens to be one of the roads that leads to shameful hurt.

BTW - You could get a nasty burn if you try to do that to a torch
Nah, I just thought I might have discovered a new use for my blowtorch:(

My frst post in tghe new life.

Alisa, it looks like there is an after life:D

Mike! Welcome back! The atheist thread has been terribly boring without you. Did you orchestrate this whole thing just to prove me wrong about there not being an afterlife?

You just scared the crap out of me. I had no clue what was going on and if it was my fault, I'd feel terrible.

But yeah, I got the joke. Good one, Mike.

And welcome back.

Did either you or Rich stay away for 3 days??? :o

Longer than that, but I don't think we should dwell on the past any longer;)

I was just looking for a divine resurrection of some sort. :p I guess one doesn't exist here... :D

i've been on some hols (vacation) but i'm back now, and caught the backend of these shenanigans, which have really surprised me

wrt repping/derepping, I can't really understand why anyone would de-rep someone - I would have thought everyone is trying to give helpful advice to the best of their ability, and contributing their personal time in doing this.

So if someone mistakenly gives some wrong advice, perhaps/most probably by missing the point of a poster's query, it surely doesn't deserve negative rep.

I think when this was happening it was part of a clash of personalities

No, just one who discovered that the hatred and accusations he had against the other did not stand up to scrutiny

But that's all in the past now Rich, isn't it? ;)
