Just to completely contradict the title of this thread :)
I want to clarify because heaven forbid my Access reputation be tarnished! The de-repping had nothing to do with Access advice - It was over comments I had posted in the water cooler.

Sorry, just got around to taking you off ignore. I agreed to treat you with mutual respect early in this thread, after our first major "tiff". You said that wouldn't be fun.

I'm ready to put this all behind me and treat you as a respected colleague.

BTW, I put you on ignore so I wouldn't get in over my head responding to you. I just don't have enough time in my day to write several articles on why I think I'm right and why I think you're wrong. Regardless of how much we like or don't like each other, we are very different people with very different views on what is right. I respect your views and hope you'll respect mine. I'm willing to be your friend.

Also, one of my best friends in the real world has political views similar to yours, maybe a little more left. I enjoy debating her and we always walk away still loving each other.

Life would suck if we all were alike.

Regarding the rep/de-rep, I almost repped you for some particularly brilliant but simple advice you gave on the technical formums the other day but got distracted (that happens a lot). And I apologize for having de-repped you before, it was because that was the only outlet I thought I had for expressing myself. I'll be sure to re-rep you next time you post something brilliant and your turn comes up again (you can only rep someone once in a certain period, I guess).
