Feedback on personal websites?!

Hey folks,

I've just created my own website where I'm trying to promote something that I have concocted out of Microsoft Access, Excel and Outlook using VBA.

Are we allowed to post our websites to obtain feedback about layout and content or is this a big "No No"...

Hi James,
I personally can't see a problem in helping you with your website, however if you are promoting a product, then it's slightly different. The problem is that once you allow one person to advertise, then everyone feels that they can advertise, which isn't a problem if everyone is sensible. However, not everyone is sensible! The whole site would soon turn into one of those advertising nightmares, where the goodness and viability of the site would disappear in amongst all the trash.
