Hi I have a database that contains a UKPostcode. I have it listes as text and there is a format field for UK Postcodes. LL09 0ll
However when I try to mailmerge to Word some of these postcodes display corectly with the space between the first and second part. I.e the space. Somewhre in the document is displays correctly iof i use a db entry that is older. The newly entered postcode data is stored with the mask but in word mail merge it drops the space. Yet records entered earlier in the life of the database display correctly with the space.

Check your raw table data. The entries put in earlier in the DB may have the space hard coded in it, while the others may store the data without the space.

Thanks I thought i was going mad, I checked out the raw table and sure enough the table had been altered about 3/4 of the way through. Consequently each Post Code was in a newer (wrong) format.
