I've used access for years in Utah, but the latest version doesn't work for Office 365 Access.
Here is the answer posted, in Office 365 there IS NO TOOLS BUTTON

Question:
Find and replace default settings
Is there any way to change the default settings on the Find and Replace dialog from 'Whole field' to 'Any part of field'?

Answer:

Tools | Options
Click on Edit/Find tab.
There is a section called Default find/replace behavior.
Click the General search radio button.

Hi. Welcome to AWF!

Just FYI, I have moved and merged your threads out of the Introduction Forum.

So far as I know you can’t change the default- you would need to write you own to either step through the form recordset or use an update query
