Put this code in the After Update event of your combo box
Code:
Dim rs As Object

    Set rs = Me.Recordset.Clone
    rs.FindFirst "[ComicBookNumber] = " & Str(Nz(Me![Combo12], 0))
    If Not rs.EOF Then Me.Bookmark = rs.Bookmark

For ComicBookNumber above enter the name of the field that stores your comic book's number and for Combo12 above enter the name of your combo box.

Let me know if this helps!

blundell, please stick to only one thread on the topic. I have merged both threads as it is a waste of people's time having two open.

Like the others i too am confused as to what you want done exactly. However, attached is a database i made which might be what you are looking for.
Best Regards,
Chris

Ok i understand how to explain now. 344 - 700 means i have comic books with issue numbers - 344 ,345 ,346, 347 etc all the way to 700.

I meant array in the linguistic meaning - "An impressively large number, as of persons or objects: an array of heavily armed troops; an array of spare parts"

That attached database is excellent, but what i am getting at is when i select the comic book issue number from the combo box, i would like VB code that works out the, date, month, year. As i have so many it would be impossible to go through them all manually and type them in. I have the date month year of the first ever one issue - 344 and i was wondering if code could be written to extrapolate the date month and year for this accounting for the four comics a month, days in each month and leap years any help?
