I have developed my database on a 19" monitor set at 1024 x 768 (True Color 24 bit). I have a user that has a 15" monitor and prefers his resolution at 800 x 600. My forms are too large for his screen. Is there anything I can do so he can view my forms?

Hi Skelley

You could re-design your forms!!

Unfortunately there is a possibility that this might be the only answer. Normal development practice is to design to the lowest resolution that any user may have on their screen (the actual monitor size isn't the issue - but the range of resolutions their monitor and/or video card can use is of importance).

There are some alternatives:

There is a shareware programme ShrinkerStretcher.

FMS have something in their excellent package of Add-Ins.

In "The Access Developers Book" (Sybex) by Ken Getz, Paul Litwin and Mike Gilbert - there is some coding designed to achieve this.

There have also been other postings on this Forum - so search through here.
