anybody got any good ones? I've got an endless amount I can watch, as I've got about 850 movies on my computer. But here's one of my favs. The classic f*ck rant by Steve Martin:

I quite like what is now called "The Campfire Scene" from Blazing Saddles.

When I was working, I was in the urban planning/environmental planning field. Two clips along that theme.

There are a whole bunch of subtle fun scenes in Airplane. Should have a trivia quiz on them.
Naked Gun movies also had a lot of memorable scenes.

you forgot to post the video, sir!

another one of my favs, from Reservoir Dogs, the classic opening scene which makes plenty good use of the substitute word for "Johnson":

Sorry, I didn't realise one had to attach a clip.

well the watercooler is not the same as a customer. but still, there's no "requirements" button here I can click. I don't even have the power to include a poll like Jon does. I wonder if that feature is hackable....

Almost ANYTHING from Arsenic and Old Lace. Here is the infamous "window seat" scene, where Mortimer (Cary Grant) discovers that his dear, sweet, little old aunts have poisoned a gentleman. But there are other scenes in this movie that also make me laugh so hard I come close to wetting myself.

you and my father are the same age, Richard. It annoys the hell out of me sometimes if I'm riding in the car with him and he turns on the 50's music. lol

Anything from the 30s to the 80s is the really good stuff. Once that rap crap starts in, I'm out. There are three styles of music I don't collect: angry ghetto/gansta rap (with the N-word and talk of popping caps and bustin' ho's); super-extreme heavy metal (for example, the band G.W.A.R.); and howlin' dawg country laments of the type that if the moon isn't up before the music starts, it will HAVE to come up in self-defense once the dawg starts howlin' away at it.

then I guess you don't like these?
=> Ride Wit Me - Nelly
=> Rollout - Ludacris
=> California Love - Dr. Dre
=> In Da Club - 50 cent (uses the 'N' word quite extensively)
????? and of course I have all of them and listen to them quite a lot. :)

It figures that you would like rap whereas I am of an older generation and find rap often is deficient in the melodic component of vocal music.

actually Richard, some rap does have some good rhythm and tuneage, like the ones I mentioned. I don't listen to the shit where the "singer" is just yelling at the top of his lungs. there's nothing musical about something like that.

There are several scenes from 'Hallelujah Trail' I consider pretty funny. But my favorite is the battle played out in a dust storm. Sorry I do not have clip available.

I guess you'll have to settle for this, kev. wow, that thing looks like a wall cloud from hurricane Katrina!!

It doesn't surprise me that you think this considering you also came out with this gem..

I believe The Police and The Beatles are both british?

Kind of tells me that maybe you shouldn't participate in music threads ;)

Doc_Man - I had heard of GWAR but not seen them until a friend show me a video clip the other day.. soooo bad it was laughable.
