Wouldn't that only happen if the oil was low. Doesn't the oil keep it from causing 'bad' friction?

Yes but then compressing air with force could also create the same effect

I do love my 4 inch heels. That makes me 5'7" when I wear them. But I don't like to mess them up. It's dirty under the hood of a car.

Yes - And in general 'engine' terms there are two; The intake manifold and the exhaust manifold. On this engine, the exhaust manifold is in the front, just under the distributor, and the intake manifold is on the back side...

Ahh, well mine was huge metal pipes that sat in the. I just thought they looked cool. My ex inlaw xplained to me what it was.

I helped change my altenator, head gaskit, valve cover gaskit, timing belt, altenator belt, water hose. THe final straw was the wiring harness had a short it in, touched the engin block caused a spark and set my engin on fire. So it is still sitting tot his day.
