Translated to English

A good New year to one and all and many may you have.

I raise my glass of good Scotch whisky and drink to the health of all on this forum.

All the best for 2016 Rabbie!

Merry Christmas!

Happy New Year from the East Coast of the US.

New year resolutions?

Mine is to eat more fatty foods, have more takeaways and smoke more in the hope I have a massive heart attack, hopefully that will avoid me having to stand in front of the Norwich to London express.

I've started well, had 15 fags today and egg and chips for tea, now for a couple of home sized vodkas. I woke this morning and first thing I did was have a fag, I usually wait till much later for that.

That would indicate that many people look forward to the New Year for a new start on old habits?

For me:
New Year’s Eve, where auld acquaintance be forgot. Unless, of course, those tests come back positive.

Be at peace with your vices, at war with your competitors, and be so lucky that every new year give us the time to learn from yesterday, live for today, hope we see a tomorrow.

Ah, Frothy, you may not have seen my question to you on another thread, I wonder if you could kindly answer my question, I'll remind you of it.

a) Why is it necessary to differentiate between the "two middle eastern guys" and "other white folks"?

That was in one of your posts earlier.

Thanks

Col

Hi Colin, glad to see you wish to carry on your new year with your usual Zest for confrontation!

Hi Colin, glad to see you wish to carry on your new year with your usual Zest for confrontation!

My apologies, I didn't think asking a polite question was a prelude to confrontation.

However, it is difficult to get an answer especially if the questionee is a Yank. I think it must be part of their "education" to avoid answering questions. I'll continue to post it though as I'm genuinely interested.

Happy New Year to everybody wherever you are and whatever creed you may be.

Doing well so far. 20 fags today, chinky for tea and now having some vodka.
