Help!

I need to import a customers data into our Access 97 based product, but his descriptions are in Hebrew, so Ill Im getting is question marks, Ive never done this before so can someone give me some pointers?

Strangley the data he sent me is in an excel spreadsheet and I can view that without any problems.

Thanks

I'm not sure about this but...

I think this may be a unicode issue and I'm not sure how 97 deals with it. As a quick one time import fix, I would try one of the following:

1. Open it in Access 02 and export the data back to a txt file that 97 should play with...

2. Attach to the xls you have and import it.

I dont think the issue is to do with the file, as I installed the hebrew font and was able to import the excel file into access 2002 without any problems at all, and the language bar in XP meant that the customer would be able to enter mixed Hebrew/English Language descriptions in to the software.
Unfortunatly our product isnt going to be upgraded to access 2002 until the next major release which will be some time next year.
So it looks like I cant get Hebrew into an access 97 database so I think this is a sale we might not get :(
