I'm uneducated about it. I know where the country is, and I see plenty of typhoons on the map over there during the typhoon seasons. but haven't seen any occurances lately....maybe the typhoons occur more towards the northern part of the Pacific, like up by China or Japan? I have read the wikipedia article on the most intense ones in history. Pretty good reads, but not inspiring of course. Here in the USA, the biggies that caused serious damage were ones like Ivan, Katrina and Wilma.
