Hi all,
I'm recently retired from AT&T, and have used MS Access extensively in my career there as a Data Architect. My guess is I first started using it back in 1992. It has always been my tool of choice for connecting to any and all DBMSs I've worked with. Through the years I've created some fairly complex solutions with my Access Databases, but I've probably forgotten more than I've retained.
Now I'm a retiree looking to supplement my income to fund my golf addiction and supplement my retirement income. I'll always be driven to working with Databases: Designing solutions to make people's life a little easier. I'm sure most of you out there know more than I ever will, but what they hey! I figure it's a lot like golf. I'm better than 85% of all the golfers out there, but that other 15% generally blow my doors off. So what? It's fun!!!
My plan is to set up a little Consulting company aimed at helping small businesses, schools or organizations with their IT needs. Access may or may not be part of what I'll do for them... whatever makes sense architecturally.
Thanks in advance for welcoming me aboard!
