Good Day:

I haven't used MS Access since 2000 so I now consider myself a "newbie". I have spent far too much time working on my database and hoping someone can assist. I am attempting to create an <All> option in my Combo Box (cboCategoryID) to allow users to display all records OR a Clear Filters button (cmdReset) that will reset the Category previously selected. Currently, when I filter by Category, I am unable to view all records unless I close and reopen my form. Attached is my draft DB. I would be most grateful for your time and help! Cathy

is your db created in A2000?
you might not be able to open the db created on newer version.

Clear Filters would be the easiest, that is what I use.
Just set FilterOn to False or to be safe set Filter to "" as well.

I see your problem is solved.

Hi @Cathy157. Welcome to AWF!

I have moved your thread out of the Introduction Forum. You can still post an introduction, if you like. Cheers!
