Help with auto-entering details (1 Viewer)

I have a table with the following info in it:

Aircraft ID
Aircraft Type
Engine Config
Airframe Config

I'd like to be able to enter the aircraft ID into my form, and the computer then checks to see if that aircraft ID exists. If it finds it does then it will automatically fill in the type and config details on the form and skip to the next part of the form without prompting. If the aircraft ID doesn't exist then I can enter all the details on the form and it stores them away for future reference...

I cannot for love or money make the relationships work, and auto lookup either. Can anyone point me in the right direction on this please?!

Add a new unbound combobox to the form using the wizard. Choosse the option that says to look up a record on the current form.
