I'm a hick from the stix of SW Georgia (USA, that is). Started as an RPG II programmer in 1982 (sure beat painting for a living). Now IT Director for large mail-order and wholesale pecan business. Work in SQL most days and have a lot of custom legacy VB6 apps to maintain. I saw this forum while looking for a solution to a macro problem caused by an ACCESS 2002 report being run with ACCESS 2010. I've also been trying to learn C# but time is not my friend-- most of the time.
I love everything outdoors- hunting, fishing, football- whatever. Have adult children and grandchildren in the Jax-St Aug area. We spend a good bit of time, and too much money, there.

'ppreciate the welcome! There's lots to do down there, but it's too much city for me. I'm a country boy. My saving grace is I own a boat! AND, my grandson is my fishing buddy. I think he's caught more bass in his 9 years than I've caught in my life.

I see you haunt West Palm Beach. I lived there for 10 years and is where I met my wife. We lived in Jupiter 4 years before coming to GA. We were in Jupiter 3 weeks ago. First time in a while. Amazing how a few years changes a place!

Yes we've been spending winters Jan -Apr in the West Palm/Lake Worth/Boynton Beach area.
Certainly enjoy the temperatures and golf in the winter months.
