I'm making a db for my bosses acquaintance. I thought the one i made in excel for her would be good enuff last year but now its not big enuff. I made it in excel cuz I didnt know access and I thought it would be good enuff, but now she wants to make it longer so what im doing is making it all over again in access. I should have just learned access from the start b/c I'm gonna have to learn it one day instead of putting it off. So forgive me, perty please lol.

I have all the tables of the db made, what do I do next to make this look like the "Bill of Lading" which I will attach to this msg. I'll attach both of em...The Database and The Excel File if they're not to big, if so i'll make the excel file smaller where u can just see it, but not use anything.

Daxton,

Oops! No attachment.

Before you attach the Database:

Tools --> Database Utilities --> Compact/Repair
Then ZIP into a file.
Then attach.

Doh!

I always do that. With the part about forgetting to attach something. Thank you for telling me that.

I went to:
Tools-Options, General tab. Check "Compact on Close"

Is that the same thing?
