Has anyone been-there-done-that for the following situation?

I have an Excel spreadsheet with text cells that contain line breaks within the text (ALT-ENTER).

When doing an import into Access the line breaks are translated by Access into a box symbol. A line break in Access is usually entered into a text box as CTRL-ENTER. When I look at the box symbol after exporting to a .csv file from Excel, I see that it is an ASCII 10 or Line Feed symbol.

When trying to do an Edit/Replace, I can copy the box symbol (Line Feed) into the [Find What:] field, but I can't seem to get anything other than a character from the keyboard or a copied character from the Character Map utility into the [Replace With:] field.

Does anyone have any idea what keyboard combination would work to change the box symbol to and Access line break?

I suspect that this can be easily accomplished with VB, but I was hoping Access could handle this through the menu options.

Thanks for any ideas/help you can provide.
