I have created a small database that will have no more than 500 records. It is located on a LAN. It works fine for me, I'm in the US. However I have users in India when they try to use it, it is unusably slow. I really don't know anything about networks. I've looked at tips for speeding up access but most things don't apply because there is really only one table and few queries. Is there anything I can do to make it run faster for long distance users. I am assuming that it must go through several servers. Do I need to give up the multiuser environment and just go with an excel spreadsheet? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Remember, the Internet runs at perhaps 1/100th the speed of your LAN. The only acceptable use I've heard of in using Access on the Internet is to go to some form of Terminal Server like Citrix.

Thanks RuralGuy Citrix did the trick.

Excellent! Thanks for posting back with your success.
