How to turn off the windows 10 credential on the server shared folder (1 Viewer)

We have put the Ms Access database on the shared folder on the server with a view that it will be accessed by users in a split FE & BE situation,. Whenever we want to link the database which is on the aforesaid machine we keep on getting the boxes for the user credentials and password.

I have tried to turn off the password on the server using the method below, even if I press save it does NOT save anything :

How to disable password protected sharing in Windows 10

  1. On your keyboard hit the WINDOWS KEY+R
  2. Type Control Panel, then click OK
  3. Select Network and Sharing Center
  4. Select Change advanced sharing settings
  5. At the bottom of the screen, select the All Networks
  6. Select Turn off password protected sharing
  7. Select Save Changes

Could it be I'm missing something here???????

apply it all also to Private/Guest or Public.
turn On Public folder Sharing.
