Don't you know that Rich (and Colin) are really well informed on everything American including the bits that Americans don't know:D

How lucky we are to get the benefits of their knowledge

Yes, what did you want to know?

Nice studio.
You posted that picture just to hurt!:(:D

Good news folks, we can just throw out the IRC 2006, Rich has reentered the building.

Virginia has, for the most part, adapted the IRC 2006 code book as the basis for the new state wide building standards. Most American, British, European, and Japanese residential building codes are based on the same book.
Now if you want to discuss commercial building design; as of 2005 or ’06, 49 of the tallest new buildings in the world, were designed by American architectural firms.

Just curious Joe, have you ever used SkecthUp fo any of your design work?

You didn't answer the question, typical Yank:rolleyes:

I heard that during the California fires, many historical buildings were destroyed - many of them dating back to the early 1990's

Boozers claim to hear all sorts of odd things when they get looped up :p

What the **** is stupid about trying to find out where the source of the stat is?

He's already told you he read it in a book he was browsing through at costco. If you want more info on the topic, google it yourself. Why should he waste his time providing you with something that you'll probably just twist into your own little brain-dead perspective of the topic... Who really cares who did the buildings outside an interesting tid-bit of forum jabber. You act like your using the info to make a career decision on whether to become an architect :p
