I found myself wondering, while I was reading this, if he would stand a chance at re-election. That would be interesting to follow.

Billy Connoly did a movie about that "The Man Who Sued God", you'd think Mr Chambers would have just rented the movie, a lot cheaper.
Anyway, as we are supposed to be one with God, it's as stupid as your right hand trying to sue your brain for not removing it before a large object fell on it.

For those who believe that god created us, that is the logical conclusion - I mean, if we are going to go around giving god credit for all the beauty and greatness in the world, we should also be placing the blame for everything awful in the world on him too.

The judge took the technically legal way out, but another was available. According to Jesus, "My kingdom is not of this world." And of course we know that Jesus sits at the right hand of His Father now.
Which probably means the judge did not have jurisdiction over defendant. The plaintiff will have to try a MUCH higher court.
But that leads to a question. Let's just say that God showed up in response to the suit. If he were called to the stand, would he be sworn in with "Do you swear to tell the truth, ...., so help you You?" (Worked for George Burns, after all.)
