Linked Tables read-only

Hello,
Here is my problem. I have a database on a Win7 (PC1) and want to share a table with an other WIN7 (PC2). When I open the database on PC2 and want to link a table I can only read from the linked table on PC1.
When I put the Source-Database on a winXP PC and create a link I have full access from PC2.

What is the problem here? There is a Primary key in the table.

If I understand correctly, it sounds like a permissions issue. Make sure the user has both read and write access to the backend directory.
