Listbox with varying background colors

Hello

I am trying to have a listbox where each row can be a different color to the other rows. This would be dependent on the content of the row.

I have tried googling around and no where seems to have an answer about how this is possible.

I'm under the impression that it is not possible to use row level formatting in a list box. I hope someone will come prove me wrong as it's something I could use.
