MS Outlook late binding (1 Viewer)

My application A2003 and A2013 uses late binding to call MS Outlook and automatically create attachments of reports that I create. My application uses the Access runtime and is basically independent of any Access installation on the PC

I've never had any problems until with this PC which runs Windows 8 and I believe MS Outlook 2010.

I get the following message,

"There is no email program associated to perform the requested action. Please install an email program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel."

BTW, MS Outlook works fine on its own, ie can send and receive emails.

Also, when I try invoking MS Outlook again I get a different message,

"429 Active X component can't create object"

Hope this helps. If it would help I can post some code.
