Multiple Employees Per Client

Hi,

I'm still working on that sales database...and I now ran into an issue with multiple employees per client.

I have 2 tables, tbl_Employees and tbl_Clients.

tbl_Employees:
[Employee_ID]
[Employee_Name]

tbl_Clients:
[Client_ID]
[Employee1_ID]
[Employee2_ID]

Suggestions?
 
I assume tbl_Clients has more fields than you show (Name, address etc) so have a third table - tblPlacements - with:

PlacementID
ClientID
EmployeeID

You can then record multiple employees against any client
 
.. and if you added a Role field you could store what role they play, ie Account manager, Business analyst, Management consultant etc.

With added start and end dates you could maintain a history as well.
