Hi Everybody. I am a new member and also a beginner with MS Access. Have no clue how to, but I have worked with some guys using access and I fell in love with it. I also started building small and basic Db's using Access. I am from South Africa, and I hope I can learn here to properly use Access and get me to a level of self confidence to help myself

Hello, Johan, and welcome to the forum.

If you are new, one of the bits of basic advice many of us will mention is to study "database normalization." Professor Niklaus Wirth, who created the Pascal programming language, offered the opinion that 80%+ of all program errors were due to poor data design. Normalization is a method of designing data in a way to make it efficient to use. For a general web search, look up "database normalization" because "normalization" (by itself) also occurs in math, chemistry, psychology, and international diplomatic relations.
