I have just begun with Access... So I think this should be an easy question.. I am playing around with different tutorials and books to learn all I can... But...... I am trying to do one thing here... After building a table... Say "Employees" I have Employee number (primary key). First, last name, address .... so on....... I want to do a form that when I input the Employee number it pulls the remaining fields from the table into the form. Shounds simple enough........ is it????????

Thanks

CEH,

Post your form without the Search and we'll make it Search.

Or use the Search Facility here and look for "Search" (what else?). Also
look at the Sample Database forum. Examples abound.

Put a combo box on to the original Employee form and tell it to look up a record. If you then set the employee ID which you want to use to pull the data as the combo box content you will then be able to type in the number and it will populate the other fields for this number
