Num Lock comes on when PC turned off

Anyone know why my num lock light has started coming on when my PC shuts down ?

It only started v. recently - I seem to remember it yused to do it - and the mouse stayed lit - but I found a fix (can't recall how - although I think I just changed the mouse from the usb to the serial port) and it stopped...

I have keyboard startup disabled in the BIOS ( the only thing I could think of to check)

I have Windows XP home

any ideas

Do you have your BIOS set to "Wake Up" on a keyboard event?

So long as i am looking in the right place - I think it is disabled.....
