My users have numbers to identify forms logged,

so..

V0001
V0002
..etc
V0050

But all I can get with my access 2000 / 2003 is:
V__1
or V 1

V__2
V 2

etc,

Does anyone know how to format my Mask, or another way to show the preceeding Zeros in the number format,

also if its not Input Mask Related answer thats ok, Im free to move the "V" out of the Number Field, as it appears on Every single one, the users know its there even if its not on display.

Thanks for Helping

Kai

I'd move the V out of the field, and presuming the field is numeric, then this would display it the way you want:

"V" & Format(FieldName, "0000")

Unless these "numbers" are going to be used to do mathematical calculations they should be text, just like SSNs (on this side of The Pond) and phone "numbers" and Postal Codes (on your side of The Pond!)

I will give it go on the 0000 mask thanks,

They will b used in maths to do stuff too :-(
Thanks again

Ive done it,
The Clue is in the name lol
Input MAsk... only shows the 0000 in the input, then it is gone,

but I added 0000 in the text box Format.. and that gives me 4 zeros, to have in the numeric text box.. YaY!
