Their system flagged your applications for the new cards because you're using the same address and telephone number from your original account. Now they're suspicious of something fraudulent going on and they might cancel all your accounts with them.

3 year old post. Since then my problem is long resolved. And (perhaps astonishingly), I still use Capital One.

BTW, how is it that you can get a new card with 75,000 freq trav pts every year using your same social security number?

Simply utilize different companies. This year, I got 90k miles from Delta and AMEX.

Pretty common that people avail themselves of these offers, not sure why this would seem fradulent - it's simply taking an offer.

I also avail myself of the "free $400" for opening checking accounts. Have done 5 so far.
